Subject: Rules, rules, rules

H`mm now are these the ``official rules``? I am going to wear the bolts out putting in and pulling out engines and transmissions in the luv trk. Now right down the page is a different set of rules also claiming to be the rules for the race. The small block guys need all the help we can get! 18 degree head technology must be 10 years old by now. There is no subsitute for cubic inches too much weight and you kill a small block. You should knock 50# off the 18 degree combination. The big blocks will catch up sooner than you think, in the mean time lets go race.

[> re: Rules... Fridge, if you read the rul;es downpage, the only thing we have changed is the small block basic weight, and allowed tunnelrams on big blocks at a weight penalty. This is a more complete set of rules where we have tried to address the issues brought to our attention by you racers. These will stand for the 26th, you can count on it. We left the weight the same on the 18 degree stuff because they were fastest at the last race. We will address the issues you racers bring to us for the start of 2003. -- John Harrison, 14:11:54 10/13/02 Sun [1]
