Ok kids, got a new post on our board that I think warrants some clarification on our part. First of all, I want everyone to understand that only a few of the rules are set in stone at this point. The transmission, no nitrous or any power adder, no sb vs. bb, no sheet metal intakes, and door slammers only are a done deal. The motor combos and car weights are an issue still to be resolved. That is the purpose of the two races this year and why it is so important that people show up with or without cars that are interested in seeing this program succeed. It is very possible we will modify the rules from the first race to the second, just so we can have more information. Without feedback from the track, it would be extremely difficult to make a competitive set of rules. So, if you want to be heard, show up and lets have a good time with this thing. Our plan is and always has been to run these races and during the off season, get the rules finalized and everyone will have plenty of time to make any changes to run a full season in 2003. I’d also like to state that this program is strictly non-profit. All monies received from sponsors, membership dues, cookie sales, etc. goes right back into the deal for promotional materials and purse money. We have no interest in making a dime off this thing. We just want to race. So, call us, email us, or send smoke signals. Let us know what you think or better yet, SHOW UP!
