Ok well I got super impatient today, so I called Amelia. We went thru the list on the email.

The reason she hasnt replied yet is that she is waiting for her caterers to get back to her.

I told her that we had a meeting this weekend, that we would prob come in with a cheque on Monday or Tuesday next week. We have to sign a contract there.

Here are some facts:

(i) She did not offer half price pack-in day but because we were quoted by the other staff member there she is willing to honour it.

(ii) Deposit = $1865 + gst

(iii) Sleeping is okay under computers provided that fire safety is there around the clock. Must have fire safety certificates.

(iv) The labour weekend before is no longer available. We need that extra week for ticket sales anyway.

(v) They are not willing to budge on power costs. In fact apparently if the price goes up or down - we are liable to pay the difference. They use "Vector" power and not Mercury. We are permitted to source outside power - i.e., generators for not just backup but primary power. That could work out cheaper.

(vi) One month before event must pay full price of rental + 2000 (+gst) bond. Must have public liability insurance for $1,000,000 (I will take care of insurance)
