Well, Burton did say he'd stop in here sometime and say a few words.I don't know if he will (hey-he said he would!) To make him more comfortable with that idea, I want him to know that 1) I turned off the ISP/Host identifier. 2) putting in your e-mail address is optional. just so you know you don't have to be concerned with privacy/anonominity issues.

I think he'd have as much fun here as he did at chat. Hey- where's his buddies- Jeff from the Sound Exchange, Larry D and Lyndon Johnson from Fab 50's- tell him it's ok to come out come out wherever you are! (can't blame me fer givin' it a shot-)

I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the chat Friday night and wanted to say how special you all make me feel...I had no idea how people were dissecting my lyrics...I have a whole new outlook after reading countless postings on the home page and in the archives...you interest and support is truly wonderful and you've made a middle aged entertainer want to go on for many many more years...I sincerely thank you all for being interested in my work...by the way...American Beauty just took all the major Oscars tonight, which makes me extremely proud...Kevin Spacey actually sings along with me for a whole scene...not bad for a guy from the North End of Winnipeg...
Luck and Health to all...I shall return...

Thanks for stopping by, since this is our main hangout.Some of the replies in the archives were lost when they upgraded here- too bad because that "best Guess Who couplet" had 38 replies originally. When you get time, you might want to read our old board "www.insidetheweb.com/mbs.cgi/mb192372", there's concert reviews from your fans, Wonderland, the CNE, NYE. It's closed for new messages, but it gives us a back-up in case the server here goes down

The American Woman Burton Cummings Tribute Page has links to other fan tribute sites- Albert Flashers (Flasher's Domain) is a really excellant (Real) Guess Who tribute. He was there with me in Toronto for the Farm Family Tribute, I introduced you to him in the Platinum lounge. Anyway, thanks for being such a doll with your fans. You can't know what that means to us.(BTW, welcome to your Fan Club!)

Burton,
To reiterate a post in a more recent thread, many of us have listened to your music on a daily basis. For me, that has been 30+ years!!!! You have reached all of us, here, in our own individualized, personal way. I'm sure the other fans would agree that it's exciting that we can all reach back to you and let you know how your music has affected us.....and continues to do so!
