This is hilarious!! I remember being in a band and doing these eyes. It was God awfull and we cleared the church basement. Esp during this part of the song ...these eyes have seen alot of love..GIANT BREATH...and there never gonna see another woman..GIANT BREATH...like I had with you..

Also did Fine State of Affairs however I didn't sing it. Am thinking of doing an acoustic version of Take It Off My Shoulders in my most recent band. That could be fun.

This is more humorous than sad. When I was playing in a band out of Billings, MT, our repitoire was Foghat, Bad Co., BTO, Grand Funk, Deep Purple. Sometimes our agency would book us at gigs where the locals wanted to hear country (Lying Eyes & Rhinestone Cowboy was all we had in this genre) or mellow (how long can we keep playing Whiter Shade of Pale). One time we played a wedding reception for some Hungarians (or somesuch). After our first set of rock 'n' roll, they said we were very good, but could some of their guys borrow our instruments and do some songs? So for the rest of the evening, we had a very good time drinking & partying with these very nice people to the Hungarian music. We never played another note.

this mother has a video of her son and his friends (10 years old)in my attic playing Beatles songs "pretending" to be a band.(gawd it's hysterical) I'll take great delight in embarrassing him with it someday. (I hid it so he can't throw it out)

When I'm in a real wicked mood I tell him I'm going to show all his nekid baby pictures to his(future) girlfriends and watch the look of horror on his face.heeheehee.
