I was listening to Johnny Rivers' "Baby, I Need Your Lovin" on the oldies station yesterday, and got to thinking how BC could really do well with any of Johnny Rivers' songs:
Memphis Tennesee, Tracks of My Tears, Secret Agent Man, Rocking Pneumonia, Baby I Need..., or my favorite, "Summer Rain".
"All summer long we spent groovin ['Groovin' by the Rascals--there's another good one] in the sand/ Everybody kept on playing Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band."
Speaking of Sgt. Pepper & covers, JE's book mentions how TGW did a television performance w/ orchestra of the Beatle album in its entirity. Can anyone give us an eye/earwitness account of said performance?
Happy St. Patick's day to all, and don't forget to quaff alittle (or alot) of that green beer!!
