That show was played in the summer of '78. Burton was hosting the Midnight Special during the DREAM OF A CHILD tour. Randy had just released his SURVIVOR album, on which Burton played keyboards and sang backup. SO the Midnight Special was a reunion of sorts, in that Burton and Randy performed together. The show is available as a bootleg, but the Midnight Specials have not been repackaged for public consumption. VH1 reran a few of the shows a couple of years back, but not that one. They did replay the one from 1974 in which the band first played "Clap For The Wolfman." The band appeared several times on Midnight Special, hosting at least once. They also appeared several times on Don Kirschner's Rock Concert and In Concert. The shows are ardently sought after by GW fans since they truly captured the band at their best.

Those were great shows, the GW hosted MS several times if memory serves and of course performed Clap WITH The Wolfman when that was a hit.
