I totally agree. As much as this fan base loves lambasting Dom, he was an integral part of the GW sound. (Heck, how can any GW fan not love "When The Band Was Singin' Shakin' All Over")? Besides, one of Burt's best, "Dreams", was on the final album.
I don't follow the logic of those that put down Dom. BC was in charge, and chose the route where he wanted to go. DT merely fit his vision. There is nothing wrong with trying to stretch out. Troiano may have added more of a jazzier influence, but the GW had a strong jazz influence all along.
Every member deserves our respect (except, of course, the post-McDougall Guess Who members).
