Glad this point came up! I've always thought Garry was an excellant drummer, very much underrated. When I was a kid, listening to AM radio, I could always distinguish Guess who music by the drumming (and of course, The Voice, duh). The drum solo in AW (according to JE's book) had been part of their show for years-it's only right that it should be part of a live album and it's a damn good solo (IMHO-I play a little and appreciate a lot).

As a drummer myself, I always looked up to Garry Peterson.
His playing was and is well above the run of the mill '70s rock and pop. I really enjoy his rolls and jazz rhythms.
