Yes I have watched the Matrix: Reloaded and did I like it? Well, that's still to be decided.

First off, the whole Zion live orgy rave thing was just an excuse for gratuitous sex OR it was to convey the message that human civilisation hadn't really 'evolved', even with all those ships and technology, and that the baser, more primitive instincts of Man still reign. Or something.

As much as I liked Keanu, I did NOT like seeing Neo and Trinity having sex. To me, they're not really an aesthetically pleasing couple to look at even though Moss is attractive in an aquiline, ballerine way. Just... ugh. >_<

Seraph was pointless. That fight sucked. Hard.

The actual -plot- of the story started halfway through the movie, when things began to make sense and piece together instead of having floating bits of mystical foreshadowing and random excuses for violence. It was a bit predictable, especially in the aspects of Agent Smith. That fight looked really fake, by the way. Harry Potter fake.

BUT! Despite all my misgivings and little annoyances with the movie, I enjoyed it. The story was actually interesting and the cycle of Zion being reborn with the One's choice was intriguing. The Architect (or God, whatever) didn't need to pompously dish out more then he needed to though. I didn't really follow half the things he said, or didn't want to. It was sweet that Neo was the first "one" to fall in love and I did go "Awww!" from the cheesy love theme.

Out of all the fights, I think the one that was the best taken care of was the highway one. I will never look at rush hour the same again. Morpheus was amazing with his katana. Oh how I wish I could slay VOlkswagon Beetles with the fluidity he showed. Trinity on a bike was cool too. Oh yeah, I want Oracle cookies.

The ending looked too much like a bad TV series ending. TO BE CONCLUDED my ass. They probably could've fit the rest of teh story in Reloaded but wanted to milk it for all its worth and decided on a trilogy.

One thumb up, one thumb down. A very enjoyable movie as long as you look past the lack of script and Neo being the jock he is. ^_^
