Subject: I agree with you about what you're saying about a mom on a committee of a pageant that a girl has just won, she should step aside if her daughter wants to compete in that specific pageant. But it's hard to find volunteers and let's face it, who better to be on a committee than someone who knows how it works. And someone like TO who is a great director and MAO volunteer in General is of course going to raise a daughter who wants to compete. There's no rules that she can't still be a director while having a daughter in the system. Any ethical director is in it for the right reasons and I think its safe to say that she didn't put all these years into helping her girls with the sole purpose of stealing paperwork or learning other girls secrets to benefit her child.

In reply to: Not hard to step aside 's message, "Well you have Courtney Fairfield mom on the Miss Atlantic/Columbus day pageant commite. Also you haveTracy Olson her daughter competed several times and has won several titles. I have no problem having them wanting to volunteer with the organization but once your daughters want to start competing please step down. I used to judge little kids pageant all over tri state area but once my daughter want to start competing. I one stop judging and once if my daughter wanted to competed in a pageant I judge in and knew the directors. I waited a year and just had my mother bring my child on stage. I did hair and makeup and I also ask the directors if I knew any of the judges on the panel. If so I drop my daughter out to make it fair. My daughter just loved competing and I did not want any problems because I knew the feeling when I was competing." on 13:30:36 11/21/13 Thu

[> [> [> [> [> Subject: I'm so tired of hearing how the volunteers aren't held to any standards. A volunteer is someone who has accepted an unpaid position. But still has an obligation of completing the position to the best of their ability. If they can't then they shouldn't be volunteers. Trust me the organization won't fall apart without them. There are others who would volunteer in their place. I'm a vol fire fighter I'm sure you don't want me to arrive at your house and only put out half of your house fire. You would expect me to finish the job. These girls deserve the same. Some directors have no relationship at all with their title holders.

[> [> [> [> [> [> Subject: Wait, who says these directors who are being put under fire aren't giving their all to their girl?! I can tell you without a doubt that the two directors that someone is insinuating about give their girls 100%. It's absolutely ridiculous to claim otherwise. Obviously someone lost to the Salem Co. OT so they are doing their best to incriminate her relative.

Shame on you. These volunteers give countless hours, their own money, etc to many girls, not just the ones they are "directing" in a given year. (Disgusted)

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> Subject: Ps, you just outed yourself, Pageant dad. And your agenda is very clear. Your daughter competed at SCOT and didn't win. It was her first try, give her more time instead of blaming her loss on the winner having a family in the system. Did you know she did multiple pageants before she won?

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> Subject: I'm sure there are some great directors in the org. I about either director just someone pointing out that they had daughters in the system. I can say TO hasn't had her daughter in her own pageant. But as for the shore pageant I have heard the same that a directors niece or grand daughter not sure what she is to her has competed in the shore system. I think that's where there is a conflict. If not, I guess I can become a director so I learn more and can teach my grand daughter how to compete as well..

You just know the girls in Salem if you know which girl has a dad who is a fire fighter. Sounds like you have your own issues with someone.
