Author: Chaos the Freaky Awesome Drunk
Subject: OOC: I would like to note that I waited until all of you were unconcious. Now that you are all ready to be eaten, I will save the day. Inside is the single longest post I have ever written, and ever will write. I apologize to anyone who feels I am god-moding. I have no intention of ever doing something like this again, unless I am asked to again. Enjoy!
In reply to: Adwen 's message, "Adwen, floating gently the couple feet to shore, washes up on the beach. Her eyelids flutter once or twice, then she opens them. What had happened? She dimly remembers Oricon's cry for help, the sting of the poison, and the water closing over her head...she thought she'd heard Rustam's voice too, just before she'd blacked out completely...or had it all been an illusion? She tries to get up, but her muscles are still too weak from the poison, and she can barely turn her head. Looking out towards the ocean, she sees the limp forms of Rustam and another girl floating on the water. There appears to be no signs of life from either of them. Was her brother...? Had he saved her, only to be claimed by the monster? "Rustam..." she gasps. Her eyes close again and she fades out once more." on 19:43:56 12/17/03 Wed

Blurry vision? Check. Mind so foggy it's clear? Check. Loss of rational thought? Check. Shlurry shpeech? Double Check. Right! Chaos staggers triumphantly to his feet. Nothing could cure aquaphobia quite like alcohol! Reaching into the sand he grabs his sword and draws it, tossing the scabbard aside. Stumbling down the beach towards the blob he kicks over his bottles, now empty. Letting out a heart-stopping roar he cried, "Drity lil' bagger! Death to the blobby thingy!" Then he proceeds to wade into the water. He passes by a body floating in the water. Some little boy, not a monster. Does not need to die. Chaos reaches down, grabs the scruff of the boy's clothes and tosses him as close to shore as Chaos can manage without falling over. The waves would carry the body the rest of the way. He sees another body not to far off. Hacking a strange tube-like object in his way, he strides towards a floating corpse. He grabs that too. Oh, not corpse, just unconscious girl. Also does not need to die. Maybe will anyway. He tosses that over his shoulder and towards shore as well. By this time he'd completely forgotten why the heck he'd walked into this slimy liquid anyway. Deeming his sword the Water Killer, he begins to attack waves. Noting that this has no effect, (the waves just keep calling reinforcements!) he looks around trying to remember why he'd run into the sea in the first place. Being drunk has a downside. Something kept on trying to sting him in the back, but his towel kept getting in the way. Turning to look he notes a peculiar tube like whatchamacallit, a....a...oh! A tentacle! Tentacle meant monster, and monster meant...Ah, right. Forget the water of death, I have work to do!
