Author: Naverin
Subject: Naverin, who is so absorbed in her thoughts of different serums that must have been used to conjure up the antidote, finally looks up and sees that most of the victims are becoming conscious and even walking about. "Hey Lialye, look, it worked!" She then turns to where Mai'sta is laying,/oh I do hope she gets better, but she is so far gone, I don't know what to think/
In reply to: Adwen 's message, "Adwen, floating gently the couple feet to shore, washes up on the beach. Her eyelids flutter once or twice, then she opens them. What had happened? She dimly remembers Oricon's cry for help, the sting of the poison, and the water closing over her head...she thought she'd heard Rustam's voice too, just before she'd blacked out completely...or had it all been an illusion? She tries to get up, but her muscles are still too weak from the poison, and she can barely turn her head. Looking out towards the ocean, she sees the limp forms of Rustam and another girl floating on the water. There appears to be no signs of life from either of them. Was her brother...? Had he saved her, only to be claimed by the monster? "Rustam..." she gasps. Her eyes close again and she fades out once more." on 19:43:56 12/17/03 Wed

Replies:

  • Lialye sits back with a sigh as Chaos' coloring fades. A glance over toward Oricon shows that the girl seems to be doing fine. Looking around, Lialye nods at seeing the others moving more or less groggily about and goes to join Naverin at Mai'tsa's side, where she bends down and feels for a pulse... • OOC: Sorry I took so long to reply. End of term sucks. BIC: ...but Lialye would not find a pulse, for Mai'tsa's spirit has departed from her poisoned body. The antidote had not been given to her soon enough...and apparently Auguria's prediction has come true. -- Mai'tsa, 16:33:51 01/09/04 Fri
