Dear Sir,

As a native of western Canada, I could not agree with this idea more than I do. The people that run the federal government of Canada in Ottawa are so out of touch with reality. Something needs to be done to make the federal government of Canada more in touch with the people. Perhaps the idea of having our capital moved to the prairies is the best proposal I have seen on this board yet. Not only would the federal government be forced to take a more balanced view of the issues in Canada, but the move itself would give them the chance to clean house. You know how that is, when you move, you have to sort through your belongings, and you, more often than not, throw away old bric a brac that you have accumulated over the years that you don't need anymore. Such a move would be a golden opportunity for the federal government to do the same with their bureaucratic accumulation that has built up since 1867. This way, the new federal government of the Canadian Empire as Canada would be called then would, hopefully, be far less wasteful.

Paul
