Hi there ,
That we here in Holland and several other european country are already suffering from new laws thats know in the dogworld .. But if there are restrictions on breeds then i understand that people get upset , like we did when or minister of agroculture had plans to ban four or likely five breeds . Looking at the incredible bad things which happens in germany the dutch had to do something about it , so therefor we held a national demonstration at our governmental city The Hague .What was strange that not the big breeders nor the dutch breed clubs came to that demonstration that day.Strange enough the Dutch FCI was our partner in this and together with them we handed more then 30,000 signatures and a book fulled with notes and studies of known vets and specialized professors and people like that .. While driving back home we heard on the news that we won thte battle and that government didnt accept the law proposal to ban the four/five breeds.
This was a great succes looking back , but fighting with only a few even in a small country can only have effect if the people involved care about the breeds i think.
Good luck wit your fight - and lets hope more will united all over the world - because its a worldwide "problem" ..
