Subject: QUESTION ABOUT KATRINA-RITA-ISREAL


OK Brothers and Sisters.

Here is a question that has come up in wathcing, listening, and praying about all that has been happening.

We all I am sure have heard many slants on the latest events. End times-God's Judgement for the Sodom and Gamorah
of New Orleans-Global warming- etc. etc.

This thought really struck me as I was doing a study on the book of Joshua, and looking at Abraham and Sarah in that they got impatient on the Lords promise, thus Ishmael, then Isacc. And the emnity set between them. i.e Isreal and Palastine.

So here is the thought.
I was reflecting on the timing, the pictures, and the size of territory of the Gaza strip in wathing the refugees be forced out of their homes. Shortly after we experienced the worst damage done by a storm and sequenctually Rita.

I'm not flying out into space here, but I truly wonder about the consequences when we aligned with the leader of Isreal in forcing the Jewish nation out of a territory that was given by God, in a vain ettempt to appease the Palastine leaders. It just seemed as if (and I will openly tell you I am a conservative) we turned our back on Gods remnant to make peace with evil, and maybe we are experiencing the implications. Again, I'm not winging out here but I would sincerely like to get some exigetical, thoughts. Brother Steve?
