~the great white bear lopes through the grassy borders, the razor leaves drawing a myriad of cuts across his skin. Soon his fur is streaked crimson. But still he runs, a red streak of barely controled speed & power. He drives through a small copse of withered trees, Their twisted, blackened trunks snapping like twigs, & finally it streaches out before him. A vast expanse of sands, stained red with the memory of too much bloodletting.
Swiftly he changes into his human form & crouches a while as his teeth slip back to slight fangs & his muscles to their usual tone, his blonde hair falling into place across his shoulders. He shakes the sweat from his skin & hair & pulls on a pair of rough black trousers, fastening them tightly with a rough cord of knotted hair. His toilet complete, he throws his head back & draws a deep breath. He smells the dry, hot dust & ancient tree sap, of the broken wood behind him. He runs his eyes, red with demon madness, across the dry, rolling plains. The empty wadi cleave the land & the horizon is pocked with a distant salt flat. He watches the small black demons fight across the sand throwing dust in their wake. Their tinny, yet blood curdling, cries echoing across the waste to be heard only by his ears, skin born of arch demons & the fires of charon. His transformation complete he stands & tightens the straps on his pack & ships his axe once more. A smile draws itself across his face & his mad eyes gleam, almost in reflection of the blood of the small cuts covering his body.~ Yesss ~he whispers to himself~ a truly forsaken place....
Ah-lat! I embrace you! ~he cries to the burning sun, his eyes flaring with helfire. The flare of his eyes fade to be replaced once more with the piercing spear of gear-chúisechas & he sets off south once more at a swift run, to the heart of the desert.~ Wardens of this land! Mighty ice mist of whom I have heard rumour! Arkados who called me hence! I answer!
