Jah shuddered, listening to her instincts. She did not have her brother's knowledge of the Wraith-kind, she had never birthed before..ever. Choking back pain, she spoke softly, trying to explain how this was done, "It will be a normal human birth, but the babe -it'll be dead. It must be given blood, my blood. Then, I will need to feed...I will lose a lot of blood through this." She moaned, clutching her stomach, feeling as if she had been kicked by a giant.
Chres's fangs sunk in deeper, not feeding for a long time, pulling gently away after a few moments, he had fed well before. Eyes crimson with blood now, he pauses, a soft cry greeting his ears.
His sister's.
Shit!
He panicked slightly, Jah would not survive the birth if she did not feed. And the babe will be stillborn until blood was forced into it.
She might as well die.
He kissed Windris's cheek, trying not to let his thoughts show, knowing though the other knew him all too well.
