![]() | Time never stood still. This was a fact she had long begun to realize and still could never quite sink her teeth into. Seasons came and went, terrain altered and shifted, and still she seemed the same. Though this wasn’t fully true, silver had begun to turn white in sections and her stride while strong held a lingering ache from battles long past. The scar on her hind quarters a remembrance of her eldest’s conception, Dark Thunder, he mind wandered to him often enough. She hoped him well and alive, a feeling she knew for if he had truly faded away she’d have felt it, somewhere deep within. Kossess was the next to linger; two toned wolf a friend and ally once, still treasured even today. The whispered rumors of past ghosts returned had the silver she-wolf on edge but she kept to herself the worries for now. If a battle were to wage it would sooner or later tumble into her turf. Then and only then would she lift a paw, she’d learned long ago fighting battles that were not her own cost dearly, but for a friend it was worth it. And still time spun by. Members came forth from the very crevasse of the earth it would seem. Already her hierarchy had returned, minus the heir, and a few of the old pack had filtered forth, mingled with faces anew. It had been one of these newer faces she’d just greeted when an eerie call went up over the horizon, it was some distance away but the sound did not hold the lingering tone of danger. Flutes twisting on larger than normal crown the sterling sprite noted the added baritone that drifted forth, Greyn. She had hoped to right the wrongs between her two backups but no sooner had her back turned to greet another then the brown brute had vanished. Ice had lingered always, a constant shadow, at her side, but the male of lithe and scrappy being had not shown his face since that eve’ it seemed that those moments of silence were now over and he’d returned – with company none the less. Energetic lope was taken up, limbs moving as one over the frozen but slowly thawing turf, carrying her upwards and towards the focal point where the calls had come. Optics spotting the form of Black Ice, she’d beaten her to the point, and then noted the form of Greyn. Strides that had been long and fluent stumbled as her gaze lingered on the guests that the lithe male had brought back. Her heart stuttering and aching for had she not given birth to the male herself she would have sworn the onyx male to Greyn’s side was none other than her son. Composure regained she easily finished the final jog up the hill and came to rest on the opposite side of the trio and just to the left of where Ice had halted. She didn’t say anything for a moment, eyes continuing to watch the duo, but most defiantly the male. Finally she spoke. “Thunder? Lightning?” Eyes drifting towards Greyn as if to request him to confirm her assumptions; these were the pups of Dark Thunder and Wild Seduction, her and Greyn’s pups – though from different litters. Awe struck the female stood there, banner raised high and head equal. To some she would look like an affluent she-wolf, when in truth she was doing everything in her power to keep together the composure she had so quickly laced in place. If the pups were here…was Dark Thunder? Dubbance: Gender: Moons survived: Home: Position: Companion: Breath Given: Dark Thunder, Avery, & Ambrose |
