his word pure Wog. But it is man who gives it interpretation. And in doing so they make certain passages of scripture superior over others. The written word hasn't been available to men as "His Word" for most of history, so the Bible CAN'T be the total sum of God's Word!

I believe the Bible is a mirror for us. We can look into it to guage our own heart. And I think the interpretation we adhere to reveals OUR HEART, not necessarily God's.

If people really read the Bible with a clean slate, it would ultimately contradict. The duality of man, cannot reconcile the perfection an unity of God. He doesn't deal with man on man's terms! He is God!

I have a larger hope in God. I don't believe he will deal with men, like you or I would. Actually that is a good thing. I don't think people get off scott free, but where we would hurt others just for the sake of their punishment, I believe God brings about suffering to teach righteousness. And since He is the only standard of Rigteousness, He is the only judge worthy of bringing that about and why we praise him. When we praise him for our own salvation and then scoff at the salvation of others we don't see any merit in, we only praise ourself, b/c we are just as undeserving as anyone who doesn't believe. And in my verse it clearly says that their unbelief does not make the faithfulness of God without effect. There's a big difference in how we interpret these passages.

My hope is that of the parable of the workers in the vineyard. I will plug along towards God's field, for the time appointed to me. However I will not become disgruntled and loath the mercy of God, b/c I personally have judged someone unworthy of it. It is not my place, and I will not judge others. We are to beware of the leaven of the pharisees, but all we are called to do is withdraw from their presence. That should be sufficient and says that we have more faith in the conviction of the Holy Spirit, than our own influence over such people. Everyone is at differing levels of maturity. We need to be mindful of that and not impose or think of ourselves superior/inferior according to the level God has appointed us to at a certain point in time.

Sincerely :)
