S> One example is our concept of evil. There can be no equal power to God, or a power that is against Him in monotheism. So we must find ways to explain "evil" within our ideas of monotheism or we must find ways to explain why God would allow these "evil" things to occur.

W> Do you think that evil might have to do with "choice"? In other words choice brings along with it the "possibility" of an opposite. If not this than there is that or if you don't shave, a beard will grow, or if you don't wash you will probably smell or if we don't do good then we will end up doing evil.

Yet for God, I don't see in His nature doing things that are evil, so I look at the events in ancient Jewish history as God's ultimate motive for what appears to be evil is actually good and I was just wondering if you knew the perspective from Judaism. Is your view from your perspective or is it from the teachings in Judaism?
