I'm not think that my choice of words was a mistake as it seems to have communicated things other that what I meant. Bummer that.

Maybe this will help:
Doesn't Matthew 5:13 say something like: But if you do not forgive the trespasses against you, neither will the Lord forgive your trespasses against others.

It simply appears to me that there's been lots-o-trespassing and little-o-forgiveness by very people espousing very devote Christian beliefs. Does no-one else see that the point is being missed? Or is my view simply a "temptation by Satan" from a tainted "non-believer" meant to confuse and divide the "righteous". Funny, I find that.

shy--- I see your point very well. And all the scriptures you quote are correct. But you need to see that some will justify it and say you are mistaken and taking it waaaaay out of context. I also do not think it is just a view. I think it is a truth.

You do the right thing. Let you conscious be your guide.
