Subject: Getting my Jeans Beetle on the road

 I have a Jeans Beetle, bought new in 1974. The bodywork is in excellent condition - it was expertly attended to in 1989. At that time it was running perfectly but I needed a larger car which I bought [and I'm still using]. So my lovely Beetle has been garaged for 20 years and not used. The body work looks great but the engine has not been run all that time. I know next to nothing about car engines and I would like to get my treasure on the road. Does anyone know a VW-loving mechanic who would take this on - at a price of course. I live about 10-12 miles south of Central Manchester.
