Main Beam switch is in the indicator stalk, pull it towards you. If it doesn't work, could be fuses, contact in the steering column, or the headlamp relay.
Seat springs are zig-zag wire type, they can be re-tightened, and in extreme cases, can be wired together to give more support, take the seat out to get to the underside, and you'll see the springs.
