Hello all, relatively new member to the New Lancs VDub club, and first post here, i hope you can help.

I have just started to wind up the driver side window on my 1973 beetle.
Half way up, it stopped and dropped, and now the handle just turns.

I have took off the door panel, and the piece that connects the handle to the part that moves the window up and down has come off/snapped!

I have no idea what im looking at to see if it can be re-attached, or if it needs a new piece (of which i do not know the name, so google has been no help)

Can anyone offer me any advice of what i should be looking at or for?

Thanks in Advance.

Clarkee
