i suspepent it is the dpf desil partical filter if they are run on short jorneys these can block causing reduced performance and smokey start up the cure is a long run at 3000 rpm on the motorway or quiet road and recommed the egr testing for sticking this can be a prob with build up of deposits u may disagree with the high revs but this wot happens with the saab desil 1.9
