i have opened the wrong plug to drain the engine oil, ive opend the one with a screw like slot in it and as oil began to drain, a spring and a piston like thing dropped out behind the plug. please can anyone explain to me which way it all fits back inside the sump. i have now located the correct engine sump drain plug. its a 1986 vw petrol engine. a big thank you to anyone who can help !!
