Does the starter motor sound like it's struggling to turn the engine or does it spin the engine OK but the engine struggles to fire ? Do you use it everyday or is it laid up for some time ? When you fitted the new starter motor did you fit a new support bush at the same time ? The next time it does it try the headlights to see if they are nice & bright or dim yellow, that way we'll know if the battery is going flat or if the starter motor is going tight.
