Margaret I was also wondering if you have to have them speyed when they are with you during their first 12 months? We just had Matilda done about 6 weeks ago and what a nightmare! This op can be quite invasive for some dogs. I didn't actually realise it's the removal of the uterus, basically like us having a complete hysterectomy. I don't know why but I thought they just tied their tubes or something along those lines. I take my hat off to you if you went through that with all 14 of our girls.
