Sorry I missed this post. I've been using the sonic thing now for a couple of days and she is still running up to it but not barking so much. It gives out a high pitched noise that only dogs hear and it's supposed to distract them and stop them barking. She obviously hears it and follows the sound. I also have a sprayer thingy too which I have been using and she is actually heading for the door as soon as I open it now. I'd have to chase her all over the place to catch her before. Pee Pee time now seems to actually mean something to her. I can see a bit of an improvement in a couple of days in that area. You are right, she thinks she's top dog and when you're as cute as a button you get a way with a lot. She still widdles a little with excitement but that's only outside. We just ignore her jumping up and down and she calms herself now with little or no widdling. I only have to get the spray thing in my hand and she seems to know to wait at the door. It's the only signs I've seen of her understanding anything since we've had her other than 'sit' while she is waiting for her food.
I was getting sick of telling her I can tell you. I think there is light at the end of the tunnel. The good part is she still comes up beside me on her blanket and actually sits still. She was like a can of worms before. Tomorrow we are also going to the pet guy in Sunshine and he's going to work out a diet for her as he thinks her food needs to be controlled as well. Pal, Chum and other supermarket brands are fine but with dogs like her they may need more wholesome brands. It's a bit like and ADHD kid. Food can affect them also. Let's hope she continues to improve now as the past few days have been full on.

Actually we have a segment on TV on a Friday evening after the news called 'Give a Dog A Home' and the dog today was a gorgeous Labrador also called Matilda. Sweet face too. If I had a property I'd love to have a Border Collie or a Labrador as they are such beautiful dogs.
