No Christmas tree since we got Carrie as she is so bouncy at times she would have had it over. We also don't put out any of may Christmas soft toys as she runs off with them and mumblypegs them half to death and they end up all soggy and disgusting. We do put some decs up around the fireplace, which is nice as it's the genuine old world inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove, 6ft wide and 3ft deep and about 4ft or so high, so we put the candles in the fireplace around the stove, and have danglies hanging down from the beam across the top of the wall, and festooned over the bessemar beam. Looks nice, but never bright enough to get a decent photo but I will keep trying.
