Oh there are one or two Gilly. I'm having a rare old night with Tillie, she's silly as a snake tonight and doing that Road Runner thing through the house. It's so funny to watch her putting on the breaks.
I hear you are having more cold weather but I hope not too cold that you can't get out . They showed some pictures on the telly and whilst I envy you the aesthetics of a white Christmas and miss that aspect of it, we are having warmish days which are quite nice to sit out in.
I need to point out once again Gilly, that little hedgehog has been a huge success ever since I received the photo. Some people here have never seen one and they didn't know what it was . It's the cutest little thing, it really is.

We had Boxing Day lunch with our Chinese neighbours which Jan did not really enjoy but did eat all of it. He doesn't mind Chinese food but this was more like home cooked and a very different form of Chinese food. It was a new experience for both of us and I'm grateful for the pleasure of dining with a very pleasant and gracious host. We had a great time and discussed everything from Ikea furniture to snow falling in China. I find most of us just want peace and harmony in our lives without having to be wary of religious beliefs and other matters. Tina has a Christmas tree up and loves that aspect of a Christian Christmas even thought she's not. . Having said that she tells me number 9 is a a great number lol
The best part of being with your neighbours is that we only had to walk 10 feet and we were home.
I also brought home a box of green tea that wasn't as bitter as the one I get from the supermarket. She brought this home from China. Border patrol obviously fell asleep on the job. I didn't think they let you bring in tea, just in case you bring in bugs. However I accepted it graciously and will start a new regime tomorrow lol... yes tomorrow.

27th December we will have an easy day as it's been cook and eat and not much else so the bellies need a wee rest I think.

Oops Tillie's back and she understands 'drop' now so Margaret I'm making progress with her.

Anyway guys and dolls I'm hitting the hay as I've had three very full days and Santa was sooo good to me as usual. New doona cover set and a book from Poland. A Poinsettia plant, wine and a set of white porcelain mixing bowls from my Chinese neighbour. Chocolates from my 89 year old neighbour called Judy on the other side of me. Chocolates from Mona my other neighbour at the front just because I bring in her bin. Beautiful black and white framed photos of my daughter's wedding which are now hanging in the family and lounge room. A Royal Albert porcelain Christmas Bell from Mon my Austrian friend. A lovely photo frame from Paul who is the Chinese neighbour's friend. He joined us too on Christmas Eve.
From son and daughter in law I got Aesop Rejuvenating Body Balm moisturising cream which was at my request as it is for my skin just amazing stuff. It is Vanilla Sandalwood and Tangerine Rind and is the best body butter I've tried. Then, now I have to think, more wine from sis in law and Ferrero Rocher chocolates which I love too. Oh and a Katherine Tate DVD from an old friend I used to work with then last but not least 2 Polish Christmas Cds and beautiful they are too. Very churchy Polish type music and probably and acquired taste. Jan's mum used to play them so I'm used to that type of music.
All in all I had great three days and now look forward to doing absolutely nothing.
