So we all know at whose house we'll be celebrating this year then!

I bought David a bottle of Glenlivet, which we will keep to sup slowly and appreciatively on cold, dark, snowy evenings once we have shut the world out.

A happy and propssperous New Year to all of you, lang may your lums reek (as ours is about to as I can hear David setting up the wood burner because the temperature is dropping, it's getting very dark and it's only just turned 3.00pm.)

We will do the shopping tomorrow morning before the next lot of snow sets in, and then shut the world out until next week when I have to go back to work.
