Yes there was room to walk but I had to ask the backpackers to get off my car so that I could drive off. They just lean on anything lol. My friend lives in Alfa Terrace in Lorne and she's like you, picks her time.
At the lookout there was a couple who marvel at that view too and he'd had a stroke but insisted on getting from the car to the bench which was quite a few yards. Then I had to jump start some German tourist's car as they had a flat battery up there. I must have an obliging look because I've been asked on about four occasions to perform that task. Yeah I agree Erskine Falls is beautiful but the two I had didn't want to far as she is still wearing those cork platform shoes at 61. So not good for walking on rocks.
