I love to watch the Lorikeets outside. I fed about 50 Magpies today. I had a packet of Salada crackers which were past their use by date so I broke them all up on the deck. Well within seconds they were there fighting and flapping for food. The insects aren't as plentiful now so it's time to start feeding them up. I love the parrots but they hardly get a look in for the Magpies. Your Lorikeet sounds a bit like Tillie. It's only a few degrees tonight and I had to pick her up and put her out for a pee as she hates the cold and doesn't like wet feet. Well who does? She sleeps in pyjamas to keep her warm. Some nights here are so cold, much colder than I had imagined. I've just ordered two electrics heaters for the bedrooms which is something I never had to do in Melbourne. The electric blankets are on all the time as the beds feel like they're wet. They're just cold but too cold. I made Polar Fleece pillow cases for us as I hate putting my head on a cold pillow. A wee bit like how I remember Scottish nights. Brrr.............

Yeah Dave do you have to sit down to pee or just move the flap?
