Yes that guy and his family were one of the most violent families in Oz. It turns out another body was found after a tip off and it seems a YOUNG MILAT has continued on where his uncle left off. Killed an 18 year old guy with an axe and buried him in the same forest his uncle used to hide all his victims. Sad but true and they probably will never find Peter Falconio's body.
When I did that trip the only thing I feared was breaking down. Getting murdered never entered my mind but now I'd only travel in groups and still be extra vigilant. I stayed in the park at the camp site Azaria Chamberlain was taken by a dingo and there's a very eerie feeling out at Uluroo. The tent kept falling down as the pegs wouldn't stay in the ground as it's all just soft red dust. We had to tie it to small trees, the car anything at all. There were Dingos coming close to our camp and they can carry off quite large items so no doubt in my mind they took that child.
We asked the ranger what the feelings were at the time of the baby disappearing and they have no doubt either that it was eaten by a dingo. They say that they can't leave their boots lieing outside as the dingos cart them off too.
Having said that Australia has a beauty all of it's own. Mass muderers an all. Still I do love it when Gilly sends me though her pictures of English places and snow and I can completely understand why you'd enjoy getting lost. Here you could end up in Darwin lol. Well maybe not Darwin but well and truly out of your way.
Getting back to your S Type Jag which is nearly ten years old and has 56,000 miles on the clock. That's just around the corner here lol. I've had my station wagon 4 months and I've done over 6,000 already. My old Jewish bosses would only drive Jags so when I had to go out to see a client I got to take one of theirs. Beautiful !! At that time I had a 230 Merc and loved it. They used to tell me to get a new car as they hated anything German. I had it for years. Cars like those just keep on keeping on.
