Marvellous recipe for the biscuits Gilly. I'll give it a go.

Can anyone provide a recipe and method for making oatcakes? Nice thick ones, singed at the edges. The sort that you'd eat before taking on an army and so wholesome they'd grow hair on an egg.

I remember home-made oatcakes like that. Can't remember which auntie or granny made them though.
