I know what you mean about getting an x ray on the foot as moy mother broke a toe and it healed itself but she had so much pain she had to go in to hospital years later and they rebroke it and set it again.. it is still giving her pain and she will be 95 in June..
I was working on my back deck yesterday and disslodged my hammer which was on the deck rail and would you beleive it, the bloody thing fell on my middle toe and the pain was excruciating and the air was blue with expletives, Betty came running out to see what had happened and was laughing at me I was down on the deck hanging on to my poor wee toe. if I had tried I could not have dropped the hammer and made a direct hit on the toe... as they say.. "Shit Happens".. I will give it another month and see if the sensitivity goes as I am off in the caravan up the Murray in two weeks time, don't want any restrictions on my right foot while I am driving long distances....I can still ride the bike without any problem so that keep me sane if that's at all possible... Jack..
