Thanks very much Norrie. I'm going to try it! It'll probably take me the best part of a day but the satisfaction of presenting my family with pork pies I've made myself will be more than worth it, I'm sure.

Come to think of it I should get them to help with the preparation of the pies. Get some beer and wine in and make it into a party!

The first time I made a steak pie it took me ages but having done it a few times I've reduced the preparation time by quite a bit. And I clear up as I go along.....gold star in my jotter from Gilly?

Pork pies. I'm drooling over my keyboard.
