We planted some morning glory a few years ago so they would grow up the side of the fence, only wanted some annuals whilst we had a think. Our next door neighbour enjoyed them very much, we only had 2 flowers on our side. Haven't grown them since. Our ceanothus has died from the frost so we will have to have a rethink as to what to put against the utility room wall, we might get aoother honeysuckle (we already have 2) as the perfume is so glorious, but ideally we could do with something that stays green all winter so it doesn't look like a load of old sticks against the wall, which is what it looks like now the ceanothus has died, so some serious thought must be given. I will go and find a flat mountain to sit on whilst cogitating, which won't be difficult because they are nearly all very flat around here.especially as we are only 25m above sea level. Very low, flat mountain.
