Hi WPL, seek out another hospital if you don't trust the one closest. It will be worth it. My gran and another friend that them done and they were sooo glad. It's like my ingrown toenai, I perservered for a few years then had both big toes done. Now I can wear shoes without wondering it it will press too hard. Ingrown toenails are awful. My nails grew normally afterwrds too. Go for it, at least your shoes will look normal if nothing else lol. Gran's shoes were all out of shape with the big lumps.
