Yep I agree Gilly that nobody does it better. We watched it from start to finish. It was great to see all those outfits. I wonder what Harry's wedding will be like, I mean how could he possibly top William's?
Zara Phillips is indeed an attractive woman now. In the Woman's Day this week they have a "Royal Wedding" insert showing the gowns of The Queen mother, Margaret, Elizabeth and Queen Wilhemenia of the Netherdands. She wore a slightly off the shoulder little number. Quite something for 1901. I have to say Queen Elizabeth was a stunner too when she was young and her own wedding was not without controversy. Phillip's father was not a welcome figure having been sentenced to death for abandoning his post. However he led a playboy life in Europe and his mother was a schizophrenic who was eventually committed to an asylum in Switzerland. The Queen Mother would have had a great deal to worry about too with her own daughter's choice of husband. Still, Phillip hung in there and is by her side after 63 years of marriage. That is some kind of achievement!

I rushed out yesterday to make sure I got my Franklin Mint Wedding Medallion from the Herald Sun. I think it's a bit small though. Just a tad lager than a sixpence.
