I hate hot pillows and am forever turning mine over to get a cool patch for my head. I must admit that I do have a hottie for the bed in the winter. David has an electric blanket as he feels the cold, but I disappear into the other room as I just get too warm with a leccy, and make do with a hottie, as long as my feet are warm the rest of me is fine. I hadn't thought about how difficult it might be to pee whilst wearing a kilt. A friend used to go to the re-enactment events, as her husband is very into the American Civil War, but she said she got fed up trying to position a crinoline over a cesspit and stayed at home instead, leaving him to go out and play, but now they are older they still go but as spectators and camp in proper tents with proper facilities. I haven't been under canvas since I was in my teens when we used to go camping with the youth club. I don't mind static caravans with all mod cons, but anything else, no thanks, I like my comfort. Mind if we came up on the lottery I think I could be tempted to get a lage campter van so that we could explore the British Isles and go over to France.

You're right Anni, our blethers are many and various.

G
