I find this format of 'preview' then go back and fix a bit slow so now I type it in Word where I feel it's easier to see. It's not all about spelling. Some words you may use more than others so you may type bear instead of bare, their instead of there. It's not life or death or that important on here as it's not a business letter. I'm sure when you're at work you make an effort to be as accurate as possible . I'm not that pretentious. You have typos, then you change a sentence or cut and paste and things get out whack. Then it's cup of tea time so you come back and forget to fix it. There are many reasons for errors and quite frankly I'm sure if you were typing your CVs they'd all be carefully screened. I can assure you that when I read your posts I don't sit and say "OMG, Mary or Gilly have made a mistake". No, I read it the way it is and never give it a second thought. I saw Mary's 'sory' but I knew straight away what she meant. Believe me ladies, I'm definitely not the BB policeman.

I had an email today from a Sydney publisher I worked with. No capital letters at the start of a couple of sentences and Pearl and Dean is now Pearl and dean. The main thing was I was happy to hear from him and he's a very successful guy. He's only 49 years old and now only works 3 days in the Sydney office. He lives in country Bowral and has a great lifestyle. However, I'm sure any formal letters he dictates get done correctly. Spelling and punctuation he can leave to his PA. He drums up business and looks after production so he's laughing all the way to the bank. A few slip ups didn't bring him to the brink of bankruptcy Lol.

If you were to ask me if I'd rather be a millionaire or an excellent speller I think you'd know my answer.

I'm sure there's a few in here too LOL.
