Life is too short to argue and stress. Friendly arguments are great but it gets too nasty sometimes for me to participate in.

Claire has gotten so big. An exteremly cute thing she does (and of her own teaching) is dance in a cicle at feeding time. When I feed Maddie I tell Maddie to go around the table as her bowls are on the other side of the kitchen table. Well, Claire turns in circles when she sees me getting ready to put Maddie's food down. Since I started noticing the circles I have been re-inforcing "around" and now she dances in a little circle on cue. Very cute. We don't necessarily teach L.D.'s tricks but there are a few little things we do that are very amusing to the kids (and adults too) we talk to at schools. She has been going to the grocery store now on a regular basis, (takes us forever to get through the store due to admiring puppy fans) and pretty soon we will do her first restarurant trip.

I cannot brag enough about what a great, attentive, well behaved pup she is. Beautiful pup too. They have all been great but this one seems especially special. I have a great e-mail relationship with the young girl who hosts Claire's dog mom. Her name is Julia and she is 10. She lives about 40 miles from us and I hope to meet her soon.
