BB a short time ago I think I posted about my friends husband who was also retrenched after having worked for over 30 odd years with the same company. Now he's been diagnosed as suffering from some sort of depression. I suppose it affects each of us differently but he now has feelings of being too old, inadequate, unemployable, the list goes on. We all thought he was fine but seemingly not so you're not alone with your crisis.
This is one guy I thought would have accepted it and gone on to do the bush walking and camping that he loves so much. It's certainly not the money either in his case.
Always the ones you don't expect!
