::It was, indeed, a perfect night. The clear, black sky shone with countless sparkling diamonds, and the slivered moon (yes, slivered, not silvered) moon gave off but a hint of its potential light. It was in its waxing phase... yet both Toya and Kyrae's senses, Toya's especially, would pick up the faint clack of claws and the smell of decay and rot. Had it followed him all this way? No... the clacking was not getting louder, was not getting closer. But the presence was definitely felt, hungry and malicious, as it stepped its way through the vicinity. Strong wolf and coyote eyes would not give notice of the dark form moving through the equally dark night, and its mere presence seemed to ruin the beauty of the evening as mud does to pristine water... it was not an immediate threat, but could become so quickly.::
