Obviously, I'm not a history buff....but SF has grown tremendously since WWII! I think the time traveller could not save Archer in that timeline, so he moved them to somewhere else to save him. Maybe...or the close explosion of the death weapon(can you say 'deathstar', sure you can!)
caused arift in the timewarp(two steps to the left!) Scott Bakula, on Wayne Brady's show, said they filmed several endings, depending on if they were renewed or not. In one, he died. If I was him, I'd be really chessed- screwed in two shows. QL left him leaping with no hope in sight, and now, dead.... But wait,there's more....
