Subject: It seems to me that the writers have completely avoided any lasting change in Archer's behavior. Almost like the episode with the Sir' ak didn't even happen as far as Archer's character is concerned. Archer is the same and to some extent maybe worse. He is a borderline out of control Control Freak ! I thought Trip's comment about the warp drive still caring about him was comical. I think he was hoping for more of a reaction out of T'pol when he said that.

This episode was great in my opinion. It really put in perspective the fears that would come with testing new technology.

Why anyone would want to be the first person to test anything like a transporter is beyond my comprehension.

The many things that could go wrong! Cells being disassembled and reassembled!
Sounds like fun! Come back looking like Mr. Potato Head after a child has played with it for a minute! : ) If you came back at all!
What happened to transporting misc. objects first!!!!!

And the decayed skin on Emory's back. ( Was that another hint of Emory's numerous lies!? )
Emory knew that coming into contact with Quinn's field would cause harm. So he lied to Archer again!
Tptb made it seem like Emory didn't know anything about the danger. Not that he cared who was hurt in the process of getting Quinn back. So did Emory know of the dangers?
All signs point " YES " !
In the end Emory got his son back but not the way he wanted.

When T'pol was hurt and Phlox was looking at her hand; Phlox having to take away the device she was holding. It reminded me of trying to take away a gameboy from a 12 yr old.

Good episode. Porthos was great as usual!
