I agree with you Frances. I think the reason the Vulcans are so put off by us is because they havent been around us for a long period of time. Remember they live a lot longer than we do so it will take some generations to pass before they might open up more to humans. They have progressed a lot by the time we are used to seeing them in the earlier shows (later time period) and I think that is great. That is the best thing about the new show, we get to see how things started and how they progressed to what we the fans are used to seeing. -- Enterprise and All Things Trek
